Bandy Kicks Off New Project for Hondo ISD
We have started work on the construction of one new building and two additions at three campuses of the Hondo Independent School District in Hondo, Texas.
The $10-million project, which will be completed in February 2018, includes work at Meyer Elementary School, Woolls Intermediate School, and McDowell Middle School. McDowell Middle School is the site of the new building – a science facility – and an addition to house administrative functions. At Meyer Elementary School, we are constructing a new administrative addition and renovating two existing classroom wings.
In addition, both the middle and elementary schools will receive HVAC updates and other improvements, and we are also replacing the gym floor at Woolls Intermediate School as part of the project.
The Bandy Constructors management team for the project includes Jason Butts as project manager, Lee Reissig as senior superintendent, Adrian Miera as area superintendent, and Samantha Hess as project engineer.
